Youth MEC is a business competition held specifically for young students who have the potential to become future business leaders. It hopes to inspire youth\u2019s interest in business from an early age and further cultivate students\u2019 business thinking and insights. The Judging Panel from the Columbia Business School will give insightful judgments and feedback on the business proposals submitted by the participants. Students joining the competition will have an opportunity to get exposed to real-world business problems by composing a business plan that includes product analysis, market analysis, marketing plan, financial planning, and risk management of their products or services. Through practices in these different dimensions, students can improve their innovation capabilities, entrepreneurial skills, logical thinking skills and market analysis skills thus become future business leaders.<\/p>\n
